The yarn was on clearance. I bought all that they had, and made this little blanket. Yarn was super chunky, so I went with the new square pattern that I learned two posts ago- to avoid having too many huge holes. Blanket is thick! Warm! About a yard x a yard.

I'm so impressed by your commitment to crochet this month! The blankets are all really nice. Really like the green one and the one you posted today, January 27, because the pattern is different than so many others I've seen. Although I do not post often it is fun to see what you've accomplished and I enjoy your blog.
Pretty! This yarn looks like the "FunFetti" cake mixes - mostly white, with splotches of color. It will be a lucky baby that gets this blankie.
