Rug

I made this rug out of old t-shirts, cutting them up into strips and then tying them together into a sortof t-shirt rope. It's basically crocheted together, but made using the biggest hook I could find and super loose stitches, often doubling them together to keep the rug from bubbling up, to keep it flat and rug-like.


It took me a couple weeks to put together, partly because there's so much work in cutting up all those t-shirts and tying them together, partly because I didn't have very many t-shirts hanging out around my apartment and had to go home to retrieve a lot of them, and partly because I have been swamped with homework recently. All in all though, it's pretty big, and very comfortable to the feet.
